The one who learnt to get in the box, close her legs, bite her tongue and smile politely while her body quietly screamed to express. The one who learnt that being "too much" was dangerous, so she slowly disconnected from the very parts of herself that were trying to set her free.
Meanwhile your womb is absolutely ENRAGED... but apparently it's "just hormones." So we're handed another explanation, another pill, another support group where we all nod together about how hard it is to be a woman.
No.
I'm not buying it anymore. Because here's what I know after years of walking this path myself.
Your body isn't broken. Your womb isn't the problem. She is the portal.
The patriarchal system doesn't have to force women into submission. It simply has to convince us to disconnect from our bodies. To mistrust our intuition. To suppress our rage. To make ourselves smaller so everyone else can stay comfortable. We've become so good at it that we call it normal.
I know because I lived it
I was the woman trying to be everything to everyone. The perfect wife, the perfect mother, the perfect business owner, the perfect spiritual woman. Follow your dreams... but don't outshine him. Rise into your power... but don't become threatening. Get fit... but don't get too attractive. Be successful... but not too successful. Be expressed... but don't make anyone uncomfortable.

One of the most covert ways women have learnt to suppress themselves is through each other.
Somewhere along the way, we learnt to scan the room and compare: Am I too loud? Too successful? Too beautiful? Too sexual? Too powerful? Am I taking up too much space?

Creative Alchemy is my signature embodiment process and one of the most powerful pieces of this retreat. This is where we get out of our heads and let the body have the conversation. The patterns we have been talking about — suppression, shame, people pleasing, perfectionism, comparison, swallowed rage, fear of visibility — aren't just ideas we can mindset our way out of. They can become deeply rehearsed responses in the body, and Creative Alchemy gives them somewhere to MOVE.
Through breathwork, ceremony, sacred rage, emotional release, energetic reweaving, intuitive dance and unapologetic creative expression, we take the work out of the workshop room and into the wild. Into the ocean, the wind, the earth and the fire. You might howl, shake, cry, laugh, throw paint, dance like an absolute lunatic or feel something you've held for years finally begin to shift. I'm Debbie Lim — artist, embodiment guide, Reiki Master Teacher and the woman behind the Creative reWILDING revolution. For the past eight years I've been creating and leading retreats and immersive experiences that take transformation out of the online world and into the body, the art and the wild.
With a Bachelor of Visual Arts and training across Reiki, breathwork, Kanika quantum neuro-skeletal reprogramming, yoga and embodied movement, my work weaves decades of creative and spiritual practice into experiences that are raw, beautiful, deeply transformational and seriously fun.
I believe nature remembers what we've forgotten, creativity is one of our most powerful technologies for transformation, and sometimes the most sacred thing a woman can do is get messy enough to meet herself again.
